Building a tool for your team
Tools for your team.
Admins see every request. Staff see only their own. Make it private and every new sign-up waits for your approval.
Roles are part of every app's accounts from the first build, and they can only be given from the editor, so nobody signs themselves up as an admin.
Who sees what
| Purchase requests | Owner | Admin | Member |
|---|---|---|---|
| Submits a request | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Sees their own requests | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Sees and decides every request | Yes | Yes | No |
Public sign-up never grants more than member, and roles are given only from the editor.

Paid plans
Asked before starting
- What does an internal tool cost?
- You can build one with roles on Free. Making it private, so only people you approve get in, starts on Hobby. Free is $0 with 30 credits a month (5 messages a day). Hobby is $6 a month, Starter $15, Pro $40 and Business $80. Running a published app draws on Instroc Cloud: Free comes with $5 once. Paid plans renew every month: Hobby $5, Starter $10, Pro $20 and Business $25.
- Who can see what?
- Each app has owner, admin and member roles. Owners and admins see every row. Members see only their own rows, unless you make a table shared. Public sign-up never grants more than member.
- Can my team help build it?
- Yes. Starter ($15 a month) gives a shared workspace with up to 5 editors and unlimited viewers. Pro ($40) allows 25 editors.
- Can I keep it away from the public?
- Yes, on every paid plan from Hobby at $6 a month. A private app asks people to sign in, and a new sign-up waits until you approve it.
- Can I take the code with me?
- Yes, on every plan. The app is real React and TypeScript, and you can view and download the source whenever you want. Paid plans add a code editor in the browser.
